Michelle - Kaisercraft Silent Night

This year sure has flown by ..... 4 more sleeps to Christmas ...

Here is a Christmas layout featuring the lovely Kaisercraft Silent Night range .... lovely range in all the traditional Christmas colours of reds and greens. Sifting through my photographs I came across this photo of my daughter. This was our first Christmas in New Zealand - Dec 2010. It allowed me to reflect back on 6 wonderful years we have had in New Zealand. And here we are again at Christmas and so much has changed and happened since then - and it has been an incredible journey.

I have used various papers and cut 1 cm strips from these - and then distressed the edges. Lay the strips randomly - alternating between greens and reds. I then used red and green twine, drawing a circle with liquid glue and sticking down the twine to make a circular frame. Three frames were cut from green, red and green cardstock and adhered. I then layered flowers and some of the collectables from the Silent Night range in between. I finished off the edge of the layout with some washi tape.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish you and your family a wonderful festive season. Safe travels if you are travelling.

Best wishes,
Michelle

Debi Ryan: Sweet Treats

Today, I'm sharing with you some sweet treat bags and boxes I created with scraps from the Kaisercraft Glisten Collection, but again you could use any paper. At Christmas I do like to give sweet treats to friends and colleagues who have helped and supported me or my family over the year.

It's easy to create these little boxes and tags, with stamps and left overs from your stash.

Happy Christmas everyone, may your holidays be filled with love and joy.

Debi Ryan: Glisten 3D Christmas cards

Hi There, It's such a busy time of year - but I finally got chance to play with Kaisercraft Glisten Collection; so elegant and lovely to use for all sorts of Christmas crafts. But you could create these 3D cards using any paper you have in your stash.

Using  those wooden trays that chipboard is often sold in, I created these 2 3D Christmas cards, that can be used as wall hangings or door greetings.

I had such fun creating them, and I think they just make a change to give your loved ones something they can keep.

I also used a whole heap of Prima flowers from my stash.

Love that Black, gold and red colour combo.

I'm nearly on track now for Christmas - just 6 sleeps to go !!!

Christine - Silent Night Folio Album

Hi there, Christine here today with a folio album made using the Kaisercraft Silent Night Collection....

My Sisters Scrapper has an excellent video tutorial which you can see here to make this album.
I have made this to put my Christmas photos in for this year or I might just leave it to show off these gorgeous Christmas papers!! I think making a mini album each year is a nice idea as each December you can bring them out to look at and put them away after!
For the cover I used 2 12x12 papers and the rest of the papers are from the paper pad.  A few Artfull Embellies to decorate and I am done!
Remember there is 40% off Christmas Collections at the moment!

Betsy - Frosted Card Kit.

Hi all - Betsy here this morning.

Today I thought I would share the cards I recently designed for the Christmas Card Kit. Apologies to the ladies who have either bought or done the kits with us, over the past weeks. I must admit this perhaps is my all time favourite Christmas Collection from Kaisercraft, called Frosted. I love the colours and the vintage feel of this range.

An easel card and we handmade the rosette.

This card is called a Double Z- Side Pull Card - very easy to make and most effective. Check the web for a tutorial if you would like to have a go at this one.

A simple 5 1/4" square card, just making use of the gorgeous papers and the images that come with this range.

What did we do before we had Spellbinders circle dies or any dies for that matter!!Yes it was fun cutting these out and we have used the Tattered Lace Poinsettia Die to cut the flowers and leaves.

Kaisercraft bought out this window die with the shutters at the side - the possibilities are endless! For the background I cut a stencil out using their brick die, then I stencilled the white card using sepia ink. Rather liked the effect.

Lucky last ladies. This is a great way of using 5/8" scrap strips don't you agree!

That's it today. Thanks so much for taking the time to check this out and remember Artfull Crafts have all their Christmas stock at 40% off, at the moment - you can't go wrong with that.

Happy crafting and blessings to you all,

Betsy.

Christine - Silent Night Cards

Hi Christine here today with some Christmas  cards I have made from the Kaisercraft Silent Night Collection...

I have used papers from the Silent Night paper pad, the ornament has been diecut from a Spellbinders ornament die and I have diecut out the centre and added another Spellbinders- Medallion One- diecut behind.

For these last 2 cards I haven't used any patterned paper except for the bow.  I have used silver paper and diecut and embossed white cardstock. The wreath diecut is from a Kaisercraft die and the bottom one uses a Sue Wilson die-The Australian Background.

Vonni - Christmas Wishes

Happy December 1st everyone! Only 24 more sleeps until Christmas.

Today I'm sharing a scrapbook layout made using the Christmas Wishes range by Kaisercraft.

Christmas Wishes is a gorgeous range of pastel pinks, purples and greens with a hint of gold foil and shimmers thrown in. Makes me want to rethink the colour scheme for my Christmas tree this year.

No Kaisercraft collection is complete without the set of co-ordinating collectable embellishments. Shimmering baubles, tags and sentiments.

Have you made your Christmas wish list yet?

Thanks for stopping :)
